Job Description

You will be part of our team as a dedicated QA/Testing Engineer responsible for manual and automation testing of client applications and backend APIs. Your role will involve ensuring the highest quality of our self-ordering solutions in a lab environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting manual testing of various client applications like Self-Ordering Kiosks, Mobile Apps, and Kitchen Display Systems. You will also be required to develop and execute automation scripts for testing backend APIs. Using JIRA, you will identify, document, and track software defects. Collaborating with development and product teams, you will create detailed test plans and cases, perform regression testing, and analyze test results to recommend improvements. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in software testing. Proficiency in testing client applications and backend APIs, as well as using JIRA for defect tracking, is essential. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, analytical mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required. Preferred skills include experience in the hospitality industry or with self-ordering solutions, familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks, and knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, or similar.
