Job Description
- The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst position at our organization is an intermediate level role where you will be involved in the establishment and implementation of new or updated application systems and programs in collaboration with the Technology team. Your main objective will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. As an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst, your responsibilities will include utilizing your knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify necessary system enhancements. You will consult with users, clients, and other technology groups to provide programming solutions, install and support customer exposure systems. Additionally, you will analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues, conduct testing, and debugging. You may also act as an advisor to new or lower-level analysts, identify problems, analyze information, and recommend solutions. In this role, you will need to exercise independence of judgment and autonomy and serve as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and/or other team members. You will be required to assess risk when making business decisions and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations to safeguard the firm's reputation and assets. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 4 years of relevant experience, with expertise primarily in Oracle and Talend ETL. Experience with other Business Intelligence tools like Tableau/COGNOS and ETL tools is also desirable, along with proficiency in RDBMS, preferably Oracle, and SQL query writing skills. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required for this role.
