Job Description
- As a skilled Ruby on Rails and React Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Ruby on Rails and React. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, improve existing functionalities, and deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code. The ideal candidate should be proficient in both Ruby on Rails and React and possess a strong understanding of web development principles. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing full-stack web applications using Ruby on Rails and React, collaborating with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications, writing clean and efficient code in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript (React), implementing new features, optimizing existing functionalities, conducting testing and debugging, working with version control systems like Git, integrating front-end components with server-side logic, participating in code reviews, staying updated with the latest trends in Ruby on Rails and React development, troubleshooting technical issues, contributing to process improvement, and collaborating effectively within an Agile development environment. To qualify for this role, you should have proven experience as a Ruby on Rails developer, proficiency in JavaScript and experience with front-end frameworks like React, strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles, experience with RESTful APIs, familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, understanding of version control systems like Git, knowledge of front-end build tools and package managers, familiarity with testing frameworks for automated testing, ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred qualifications include experience with other front-end libraries or frameworks, familiarity with server-side languages, knowledge of containerization and deployment tools, and understanding of Agile development methodologies. Additionally, we are looking for someone with 5+ years of full-stack software development experience, experience building and scaling Software Products, experience architecting and deploying Software Products on the AWS Platform, and expertise in Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap CSS framework, and Git version control system. Nice to have skills include knowledge of modern front-end frameworks, microservice architecture, and API design and development. This is a Technical Job based in Bangalore and requires a BE/ B. Tech / MCA qualification with at least 5 years of experience in the field.,
