Job Description
- As a Senior Industrial IoT, PLC & Networking Engineer at Crest Climbers Software Solutions Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for analyzing and resolving real-time machine data delay or missing signal issues in industrial automation settings. Your role will involve reviewing and optimizing existing IoT + PLC integrations across machines, working with Teltonika or similar routers using 5G SIMs to ensure secure data transmission, and improving network reliability through VPN setup, port forwarding, and remote router config access. You will troubleshoot sensor-level issues such as RPM, current, voltage, and temperature, as well as PLC logic mismatches causing false readings. Additionally, you will enhance or rebuild LabVIEW/SCADA dashboards and alerting systems for production environments. Collaboration with client-side teams to identify root causes of data sync delays and propose solutions will be a key aspect of the role. You will also be responsible for preparing SOPs, documentation, and providing support handover. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in Industrial IoT, PLC Programming, and Industrial Networking, with a strong familiarity with Siemens, Allen Bradley, or Delta PLCs. Proficiency in working with Teltonika (RUT series) or similar 5G SIM routers, as well as a good understanding of network setup, routing, VPN, and remote access tools, is essential. Knowledge of Modbus, OPC-UA, MQTT protocols, and the ability to diagnose and resolve data lag and routing problems are required. Bonus skills that would be advantageous for this role include proficiency in Python or Node.js for edge processing/scripting, experience in crusher plant automation or high-load industrial environments, and familiarity with cloud-based data dashboards or reporting systems. This position requires the ability to work independently in the field while meeting client expectations.
