As an Electrical Design Engineer at Siemens Transformer Works, your primary responsibility will be to design transformers and drive design innovations to optimize the end products in terms of quality, cost position, and time schedule. You will play a crucial role in the electrical dimensioning of transformers, estimating quantities for tenders/offers, and engaging in technical discussions with customers to provide tailored solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Electrical dimensioning of transformers - Estimate quantities for tenders/offers and engage in technical discussions with customers - Calculate and define electrical specifications for transformers - Prepare technical reports and papers on specific technical topics - Collaborate with various departments on all electrical matters - Prepare technical specifications for ordering components - Prepare drawings and calculations for customer submission - Collaborate with European factories for product enhancements - Communicate effectively among cross-functional teams Requirements: - Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering - 4-10 years of experience as a design engineer in the field of Power Transformer - Proficiency in 2D CAD (AUTOCAD) software - Familiarity with national and international standards (IS2026 and IEC 60076) - Knowledge of calculations related to power transformer design - Experience in electromagnetic simulation and analysis is a plus - Thorough knowledge of materials and accessories selection in power transformers Key Skills: - Excellent written and verbal communication in English - Self-motivated to deliver high-quality results within allocated timeframes - Experience working with global engineering teams - Effective coordination with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers - Experience with SAP This role offers the opportunity to work in Kalwa-TR and collaborate with teams that have a significant impact on cities, countries, and the future.
